Textbooks

The official Luther Rice textbook information is available 30 days prior to the semester start date at http://www.lutherricebooks.com/

Luther Rice library purchases textbooks generally; however, it does not carry every textbook.

In this guide you will find a list of all textbooks the library provides online in eBook format.  Please see use the navigation tabs on the left for each course.

Some eBooks may have a limited number of copies available for simultaneous use. (Although eBooks are digital, they are still copyrighted material and usage rights are up to the publishers of each book.)

Unlimited user eBooks can be read/checked out/ downloaded by an unlimited number of students at the same time. These are marked unlimited access in this guide. These are the only textbooks we would ever recommend substituting for your own personal copy.

Print copies of textbooks are placed on course reserve at the beginning of each semester for “In-library use,” which means that they cannot be taken outside of the library. They are available at the library's service desk. The Library does not borrow textbooks and/or required reading for students through Interlibrary Loan.

To find out if a print textbook for your class is on reserve in the library, go the library catalog and type the textbook title into the search box.
